FOUR months since the final show of their Oasis reunion tour, here are brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher stood shoulder-to-shoulder again.

Yet this time the football-mad pair were not on stage but

It was the moment fans had hoped for — showing and have finally fixed their fractured relationship, as they laughed and joked in the latter’s VIP box at Wembley Stadium.

“The lure of reuniting Oasis brought Noel and Liam back together, and now football has done it again,” one music industry source explained.

“Remember, it was only a couple of years ago that Noel and Liam couldn’t bear to be in a room with one another. Then on November 23, they were hugging on stage in Brazil after playing their last of 41 sold-out shows around the world.

“Being on tour together reminded Noel and Liam of the love they have for each other, even if they do still wind each other up now and then.

“Going to the cup final together with their children was a special moment for them both.”

Speaking on last night, Noel said: “Liam invited me in his box. He was on spectacular form.

“We celebrated hard. We were in a boozy box. On either side of us were Arsenal boxes and let’s put it this way — he was letting them know that he was there.

“All the kids were there, we had a great time.”

Social media accounts dedicated to Oasis blew up with the snaps of Noel and Liam cheering as stormed to victory on Sunday.

And fans who spotted Noel, 58, and Liam, 53, in the VIP area were quick to grab selfies with them.

One shot they posed for was with Man City star seven-year-old son Ronnie.

The Oasis pair’s mum Peggy, along with Noel’s daughter , and Liam’s sons Gene and Lennon are, insiders say, particularly thrilled the brothers now see eye-to-eye.

Anais and the boys are widely credited with helping to push their dads into getting back on track — and both and , as well as Noel’s youngest lad Sonny, were spotted in Liam’s hospitality box.

But while Noel and Liam have managed to keep up the hard-won peace between them, a second insider admitted their clean-living habits from the tour have now been left squarely behind.

Before they set out on the road last summer, Liam and Noel overhauled their lifestyles — with both cutting back on booze and Liam stubbing out his cigarettes.

But with plans for their next run of live dates still being mapped out over the coming weeks, Noel and Liam have both fallen off the wagon.

Earlier this month, after being handed the Songwriter of the Year gong at the Brit Awards.

And last night, he admitted he had been out for six nights on the trot. He said: “I was out Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am looking my age this morning.”

Meanwhile Liam celebrated day with a nine-hour bender, onlookers report, starting before the game then continuing afterwards.

A source said: “Liam is still as rock ’n’ roll as the best of them and his drinking on Sunday proved that. He took Gene and Lennon, along with his fiancee , down to The Wrestlers pub in Highgate at 2pm on the Sunday. They were knocking back the pints before they headed to Wembley where they carried on drinking.”

Noel chose to swerve the early celebrations and arrived at Wembley with Sonny not long before kick-off.

Once the family were all inside their suite, insiders said Liam ordered a Nando’s feast to try and soak up some of the booze before they carried on drinking.

A source added: “Liam and Noel fed themselves and the kids with a massive takeout order rather than eating the food in their VIP box.

“It was brought up to them in the box. They ordered loads of chicken and sides — which was a good idea given they’d started drinking early.

“Noel and Liam were on great form with each other. It was just wall-to-wall football chat with their sons.”

Once the final whistle had gone, Noel headed off for a night out with his pals, while Liam and his sons made a beeline for another Highgate boozer.

Onlookers spotted Liam’s lot at The Bull pub, where they stayed until last orders at 11pm.

“Liam was on riotous form,” one onlooker tells The Sun. “He was knocking back pints with Gene and Lennon, and leading other punters in Man City chants and songs.

“It was clear that he was on top of the world.”

But it is not just the footie result that has lifted Liam’s spirits.

Insiders say the loudmouth rocker was elated when Noel finally agreed to talk about the possibility of last year’s reunion.

Last August, The Sun broke the news of — with Noel and Liam speaking on the phone to hash out a deal.

Secret negotiations between promoters SJM and Live Nation saw executives and publicists signing water-tight NDAs in a bid to stop the news from leaking.

But in the run-up to the announcement of the shows, multiple sources told The Sun of the brothers’ plans.

And Liam was in the driving seat for the reunion, after admitting he was desperate to get the band back together — following their bitter split in 2009.

During their feud over the years, Noel would regularly downplay talk of making up, once saying it would “kill him as a person”.

And Liam, meanwhile, ramped up the jibes.

He said in 2018: He’s desperate to get Oasis back but he knows he’s crossed that bridge.

“I know for a fact, deep down, he wants to be playing stadiums . . . You can only play stadiums when I’m there. I don’t think our kid’s got it in him any more, anyway.

“It seems to me like he’s playing to the snobs and the world and the toffs.”

Their war of words played out on social media in the Press, with Liam later comparing Noel to a “potato” and branding his High Flying Birds band as the “high-flying turds”.

In 2022, Liam started goading Noel again, saying: “I don’t care how much money you’ve got, how many houses you’ve got, how many celebrity mates.

“The geezer’s got many faces, so he can hide behind one of them.”

Insiders said the jibes were “water off a duck’s back to Noel,” with one observing: “Liam played the childish younger brother well. Noel knows what he is like. He just ignored him.”

But it was when their children pushed them to make up, and offers for a reunion started to come in, for eye-watering sums, that they finally relented.

“The decision to reunite was, ultimately, for the fans,” a music industry insider says.

“But Noel and Liam loved the music they made in Oasis. It defined a generation, it was culturally so significant.

“They may have their differences but they knew how important the band was to their fans.”

The 41 reunion shows sold out just minutes last summer, as Oasis mania then took over the globe.

Noel and Liam’s success on that run of concerts is now the factor pushing the next run of shows, which insiders say is still being planned.

The Sun understands a possible residency at Manchester City’s Etihad stadium, and

Meanwhile those who are close to the Gallagher brothers reckon the chemistry between them is palpable.

“Noel and Liam are closer than they’ve been in years,” one source says.

“That doesn’t mean they live in each other’s pockets and that they’re constantly talking — but they’re back to being in a very good place.

“Everyone who knows them is so happy they could find this happy place again.

“All the years of bitching and sniping is just banter now.

“They’ve moved past it and they’re looking forward to what comes next for Oasis.”

BRUVS’ BLASTS FROM THE PAST

THE brothers may be good pals now but their decades-long feud gave rise to some belting insults…

NOEL ON LIAM: “I liked my mum until she gave birth to Liam.”

“He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”

“I can fucking play him like a slightly disused arcade game. I can make him make decisions that he thinks are his but really they’re mine.”

LIAM ON NOEL: “I’d rather eat my own s**t than be in a band with him again.”

“Pouting potato.”

“Probably eatin’ tofu while havin’ a fuckin’ face peel, isn’t that right, man of the people?”
