THE diamond engagement ring Noel Gallagher bought for his ex-wife Sara MacDonald is set to be flogged at auction.
The Oasis legend splashed out £44,000 on the sparkler back in 2010 when he was loved-up with his ex.

The stunning rock, made by British designer Solange Azagury-Partridge, will go live at Ross’s Auctioneers & Valuers in Belfast with an opening asking price of £18,000, but they hope fans keen to snap up a unique piece of popular culture will shell out much more.
It’s the second time the diamond ring has gone up for sale since Sara got shot of it – this seller does not want to be mentioned, but Ross’s confirmed that they purchased the ring at auction.
A spokeswoman from the auction house said: “This ring is accompanied with the original receipt from Solange Azagury-Partridge dated 2010, purchased by for £44,000.
“When offered at auction, such a ring attracts not only jewellery buyers but also music enthusiasts and collectors of celebrity-owned pieces.
“Noel Gallagher’s status as the creative force behind Oasis gives any personal object linked to him a strong narrative appeal.
“Ross’s Auctions are thrilled to have the opportunity to auction this one-of-a-kind ring owned by one of Britain’s most influential musicians.
“Alongside documentation supporting its ownership history, we are certain this ring will attract immense competitive bidding at auction.”
It comes as ‘s ex wife is auctioning the diamond earrings he gifted her.
The actress, 57, has set a £10,000 reserve price for the glittering jewellery.
Patsy told The Sun on Sunday: “Times are tough. There are a lot of actors and actresses like me that have to tighten their belts.
“I won’t be the first woman that will have sold jewellery that her ex gave her. I hope the earrings go to a good home.”
