The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has decreased its petrol price for the third time in December 2025.
A DAILY POST correspondent who visited filling stations in Abuja noted on Thursday that NNPCL has lowered the petrol price to N835 per liter, down from N915.
This indicates that the state-owned oil company has made a price adjustment of N80.
This change comes as MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano have previously adjusted their fuel pump prices to between N739 and N865 per liter in the capital city.
DAILY POST reports that the price reductions by NNPCL and other filling stations follow Dangote Refinery and depot owners reducing their ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800.
It is worth noting that NNPCL and other filling stations made previous price adjustments on December 4 and 10, 2025, respectively.
