Gateway United have expressed their readiness for the final match of the 2025 Nigeria National League, NNL season against Godswill Akpabio FC.
The Abeokuta-based club will face Godswill Akpabio FC in Uyo on Saturday.
The team is determined to justify the confidence reposed in them by the state government.
“We thank the Honourable Commissioner for his consistent support. We know what is at stake, and we promise to give our all to make the state proud,”; Gateway United’s captain, Kabiru Poopola, stated in his response.
Acting General Manager, Niyi Soleye, also reacted, saying, “The team is upbeat and ready. The technical crew and the entire squad are focused, and we will give our all in Uyo.”;
Gateway United currently occupy ninth position on the NNL Group B table with 22 points.
Festus Allen’s side are battling relegation alongside Godswill Akpabio FC and Abakaliki FC.
