Akwa United head coach, Paul Offor has revealed his plan to maintain their position at the top of the Nigeria National League, NNL, conference B table.
The Promise Keepers sit at the top of the table with 25 points from 12 matches four points ahead of Sporting Lagos.
Offor urged his players to approach every game remaining in the league as a final.
“From this point forward, every game we play is a final for us,” Offor told the club’s media.
“We will try as much as possible to approach every game with a winning mentality.
“If we want to promote we have to ensure that at the end of every matchday we are on top of the league table.”
Akwa United will travel to Osogbo to take on Osun United in a matchday 13 fixture on Sunday.
