Paul Ibe, an aide to ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, on Friday said Nigeria is in a full blown dictatorship under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Ibe said organs of government like the police, anti-corruption agencies and the judiciary are now organs of Tinubu’s administration.
Posting on X, he wrote: “It is obvious even to the blind that Nigeria, under the era of @officialABAT, is a full-blown dictatorship.
“All the institutions of the state, including the police, anti-corruption agencies, and the judiciary, are now organs of the Tinubu-led APC administration.
“@ADCcoalition @atiku @PeterObi @elrufai @ChibuikeAmaechi @BolajiADC @jidesanwoolu @PoliceNG @officialEFCC”
His comment comes after the police barred members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, from meeting in Kaduna.
In a similar vein, the Lagos State government had closed the venue of ADC’s meeting in Lagos State.
These moves have been seen as an attempt to shut dissenting voices in Nigeria.
