A MOTHER has recounted the alarming moment her daughter allegedly found a disturbing surprise in her takeaway order.

According to the mother of three, who seldom dines out, she was preparing a meal for her family and decided to order a “cheeky” snack while the main dish was cooking.
After eating four chicken wings, Chanchez handed the remaining two to her daughter and continued with her cooking.
Unbeknownst to them, the last couple of wings were allegedly not chicken – as her daughter came rushing downstairs to reveal that it was tissue paper fried in batter.
“She spat it out. They deep-fried it – and it really looks like chicken,” the 32-year-old Londoner shared the shocking details in a recent video .
“I can’t believe this, I truly can’t believe it.”
“This is our local shop. We don’t usually eat out like this, but I thought you can’t go wrong with wings.”
After making this alarming discovery, Chanchez (@ chanchezmartinlondon ) went to Rooster Chicken and Pizza in Carshalton – the establishment from which she had ordered the food – where she confronted a staff member who claimed he couldn’t locate her in the CCTV footage.
After waiting 20 minutes for the employee to review the recordings, the mother of three said she was offered a compensation of £20, which she shared in a follow-up video .
Chanchez, who reported the incident to the local council, also left a critical review on Google to warn others – although the shop's response surprised her.
In her one-star review, she wrote: “I purchased chicken from here on New Year’s Eve. When I opened it at home, I found actual napkin/tissue paper inside the chicken, cooked within the batter.
“I recorded a video immediately. This was extremely distressing and raises serious food hygiene concerns.
“The issue has been reported to the local council. If I could give zero stars, I would. Please stay safe,” she cautioned others to avoid the place in a clip .
However, the chicken shop staff insisted that the chicken wings were not from their takeaway.
“We’re sorry, but we checked the CCTV, and there is no record of you purchasing chicken from us. It’s not from our shop. Plus, our wings' breading is white.”
Since being posted on TikTok, the video has amassed a staggering 1.2 million views, with hundreds of viewers expressing their horror in the comments.
“It’s the fact that you can see that the chicken was intentionally shaped like a wing,” remarked one observant viewer.
“I would be throwing up everywhere because my mind would be racing about where that tissue has been and what it was used for before ending up coated and fried,” another commented.
“Contact trading standards because that’s outrageous, and hopefully, they can help you get your money back. I’m sorry you and your daughter had to experience that,” a third wrote.
“That is absolutely unbelievable,” someone else expressed their disbelief.
