Nasarawa Family Unveils Burial Plans for Late Senator Solomon Ewuga

The family of the late Senator Solomon Akku Ewuga, who served as the former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has released the schedule for his funeral rites.

As stated by the family, the ceremonies will commence with a Night of Songs and Tributes on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at De Rainbow Marque Events Centre in Garki, Abuja, starting at 4:00 p.m.

A wake keeping is planned for Friday, October 31, at the late senator’s residence in Alushi, located in the Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, also beginning at 4:00 p.m.

The final burial service will take place on Saturday, November 1, at the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) in Alushi, starting at 10:00 a.m., after which Senator Ewuga will be laid to rest.

Senator Ewuga, who represented the Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the 7th National Assembly, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt, where he had traveled for medical treatment. He was 70 years old.
