A MUM, 26, has left people with their jaws on the floor after they assumed she was only ”nine”.

Many beauty buffs fork out hundreds and thousands to shed years off their appearance – but for one mum, Betty, it comes naturally.

The video has taken the internet by storm, winning the 26-year-old close to 9mikllion views in just one day

At first, the young woman might appear to be a child – but Betty recently left TikTok users stunned after revealing she was, in fact, 26.

The pint-sized beauty measures at just 4’11” and weighs a mere 78lbs – which, according to Children’s Health Queensland , is the average weight of a healthy 11-year-old.

But while many may be all chuffed when having their ID asked for age inspection, Betty is tired of being mistaken for a kid.

According to the 26-year-old, even having her baby with her in public doesn’t help, as strangers still assume she’s not even a teenager .

Recently, Betty headed to a restaurant with her mother and her baby – and despite being old enough to consume alcohol , she was served a ”kids’ drink”.

Fed up, the TikToker moaned: ”They gave me a kids’ drink… I have a whole child. I came with my mum.”

Betty, who had a large fizzy drink to finish, went on in the caption: ”Why is this still happening.

”idk [I don’t know] what to do to appear older ????! I thought having a baby would help.”

Since being uploaded on the platform – where Betty posts under the username @ bettyboop021117the video has racked up an astronomical 8.9million views in just one day.

As a whopping 1million people gave it a like, a further 8,877 flooded to comments, where many shared their age guesses.

I’m 50 next year & don’t have a single wrinkle thanks to a product from Boots or TikTok shop - I've never had Botox

”Oh girl I thought you were between 9-12 sorry queen,” read one guess that’s been liked over 300k times.

Another chimed in: ”I would’ve handed you a box of crayons. I’m so sorry.”

Amongst those who watched the viral clip were also people who then dropped their tips to help the 26-year-old look her age.

Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing?

A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair.

This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also:

Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin’s elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin.

Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion.

”I would try dressing more older because I noticed a cartoon butterfly on your shirt and I could definitely see how they would’ve been confused,” suggested one person.

A second agreed, writing: ”Can’t blame them then the glasses and shirt scream ‘I’m a kid’.”

But while Betty may not necessarily love looking like a child now, others pointed out that she’ll grow to appreciate later in life.

”You’re gonna love this in your 40s,” a viewer was convinced.
