A MOTHER has passed away just months after her baby daughter died in a heartbreaking double tragedy.
Paula Edgar was left devastated when her six-month-old daughter, Pixie, died unexpectedly in February.

The 34-year-old had spent 18 years trying to conceive, including undergoing IVF, before she became pregnant with Pixie just months before in 2024.
Following this tragedy, Paula began experiencing seizures caused by two tumors on her brain.
Sadly, her mother, Diane, has now revealed that Paula passed away in November, although the cause of her death has not been disclosed.
She shared with Glasgow Live : “Paula was the most vibrant, happy, and kind-hearted person you could ever meet. She was truly full of life and loved every moment of it.
“That joy faded when Pixie passed away. She became a shadow of her former self.”
Diane recounted how Pixie was her daughter’s “miracle” baby, as Paula had dreamt of becoming a mother since she was 16.
She expressed that the little girl was Paula’s “entire world,” adding: “Her first Christmas was the happiest we ever experienced. She was one of the most amazing little souls.”
Paula was bathing Pixie at home on February 24 when the baby tragically died from Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS).
Diane has now mentioned that Christmas will be incredibly painful without her daughter and granddaughter.
She added: “Everyone felt her loss because she was so loved in the community. We will remember her as the wonderful soul she was and how significant she was to the thousands of lives she touched during her time with us.
“She was my little partner, and I can’t imagine life without her. She was truly one in a million. I will miss her laugh the most.”
