A SUSPECT is on the run after a huge explosion injured three people in Monaco.
Police said an individual was caught on CCTV cameras placing a backpack down before leaving the scene.

The blast rocked a residential building on a street bordering France around 9pm.

Casualties from the explosion are likely, officials said.
It was described as an “attack” by Mayor of Nice Eric Ciotti.
He wrote on X: “The attack carried out this evening is a tragedy that has hit Monaco.
“Thoughts for the victims, their families, and the people of Monaco.
“Total support for the security forces and emergency services mobilised.”
There has been no official confirmation if this was a terror attack.
