GENIE BOUCHARD made her eagerly awaited debut as a BBC pundit after three years away from Wimbledon.

The Canadian, who worked for at Roland Garros, revealed she had not attended the All England Club since her retirement.

She posted on Instagram: “First time back since I was a player! Amazing new facilities @wimbledon”

wore a white sleeveless mini-dress for the occasion, leaving plenty of fans delighted to see her on the Beeb for the first time.

One posted on X: “Genie Bouchard is a stunner! Girl crush incoming!”

But some fans were less pleased with the BBC’s new pundit.

And another fan was less than impressed with her analysis, writing: “Why – WHY have Wimbledon got J Bouchard commenting? She just tried to be an expert on our Jack Draper but Tim Henman shot her down”

Bouchard reached the Wimbledon final in 2014 after an impressive victory over third seed Simona Halep in the semis.

However, she was then comprehensively beaten 6-3, 6-0 by two-time winner Petra Kvitova in the final.

Bouchard’s last Wimbledon appearance was a three-set first round loss to Slovenia’s Tamara Zidansek in 2019, while she was knocked out in the qualifiers in 2023.

She then retired in 2025 after a spate of injuries.
