MIKEL ARTETA’S eldest son Gabriel has signed a scholarship contract with the Gunners.
Gabriel Arteta, 17, was confirmed as one of Arsenal’s scholars in the Premier League’s retained list.

The teenager’s profile within the Hale End academy continues to grow after earning a handful of opportunities at the end of last season.
Gabriel, who operates as a winger, was first used as an unused substitute for the Under-18s in a clash against back in February.

Gabriel is now tied down to scholarship terms and, given he turned 17 this week, is eligible for his first professional contract if the club decides to offer him one.

Aged just 14 at the time, he did not take part in any sessions and instead watched from the sidelines with the coaching staff.
