MICHAIL ANTONIO has held talks with an English Football League side, over a year after his near-fatal car crash.
The former star was grievously wounded in a in Epping Forest in December 2024.

The Jamaican international was let go upon the expiry of his contract at West Ham in the following summer.
He returned to training in a bid to find a new club and was in action at the training ground of side Leicester in December.

But Antonio has now entered contract talks with another Championship club.
This time, according to BBC Sport , Antonio has held initial talks with Charlton about his return to professional .
Antonio is no stranger to life in south London, having grown up in Wandsworth before starring for Tooting and Mitcham.
He left London football in 2009 and wouldn’t return until 2015 with West Ham.
During his time with the Hammers, Antonio became the club’s all-time record goalscorer.
After he was released, Antonio became a pundit and was announced on the line-up for for the 2025/26 season while he continues his efforts to take up pro football again.
