Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has predicted Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal to win this year’s Ballon d’Or ahead of other players including Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
According to Romano, the Spain international is on another level while Mbappe and Haaland are on super level.
Yamal had a spectacular 2024/25 season with Barcelona, winning the the LaLiga title and Copa del Rey with Hansi Flick’s side.
The 17-year-old is expected to battle the likes of Mbappe, Haaland, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, Pedri, Mohamed Salah and among others for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said via (The Touchline’s X handle): “For me, Lamine Yamal is on another level.
“There are many players on a super level like Haaland and Mbappé, but what Lamine does at his age is incredible.
“Lamine Yamal winning the Ballon d’Or? Yes. I talk with colleagues, journalists and the magic that Lamine gives you, nobody else can.”;
