And Maura is being paid very well for the high-profile gig — to the tune of £500,000.

The massive deal comes after the reality favourite has been gradually cracking America, from her years as an online host for to coming second in US Traitors in February and signing up to appear on the upcoming series of with .

Maura snapped up a five-bedroom £1.2million Essex mansion last year and is currently renting in LA for the next few months — but she may need something a bit more permanent across the pond at this rate.

A source said: “Maura is on fire at the moment. Cracking the US is incredibly lucrative as it generally pays much better.

“The Americans just can’t get enough of her — everything she touches turns to gold.

“They love her authentic Irish accent and feel like it’s a breath of fresh air.

“Her sparky personality with her model looks and flamboyant high-fashion sense is a recipe for success.”

Maura, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2019, has been tasked with launching I’m A Celeb in the US for a third time, following attempts in 2003 in Australia and 2009 in Costa Rica — both of which only lasted one series.

Producers at US streamer Peacock reckon they will strike third time lucky in the new location.

The insider added: “South Africa has huge appeal as it’s exotic, the environment is stunning and it offers escapism.

“And ITV has set it up for success thanks to having two South African spin-off series under its belt.”

I can’t wait to see Maura’s safari wardrobe.

He said: “We nearly went into production with Disney. We were working on something that came out and is now exclusively with Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo.
