"Terrifying Scene: Fast Food Employees Take Cover as Gunman Opens Fire Through Store Window"

THIS is the horrifying moment desperate workers clamber over each other after a gunman shoots into a drive-thru window amid a sick murder spree.

The horrifying CCTV from inside the restaurant shows at least nine employees chaotically falling over each other as they try to evacuate the area.

Police believe the gunman, 24-year-old , acted alone before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said.

His motive remains unclear.

Harrowing video, released by the Police Department, shows the moment the carnage began when Williams opened fire at the drive-thru window.

Employee Ashley Garibay, 23, was the first to be shot and later died from her injuries.

Williams then fatally shoots his second victim, 59-year-old Christopher Claunch, who was inside another car.

At that moment, former Twin Falls and Idaho State Police Officer Austin “AJ” Scott who happened to be there at the time starts running toward the gunman.

Williams takes aim and strikes the ex-cop.

Scott’s father later wrote on Facebook that his son was “critically injured” as a result and is facing a “long road of surgeries, rehab and recovery”.

After calmly parking his car, Williams then peers back into the restaurant’s payment window and fires another shot at employees who were inside rendering aid to Garibay.

At this moment another hero off-duty cop jumps the counter inside the restaurant and can be seen instructing the workers to run for cover as he aims his gun at the window and later the door.

Now armed with a rifle, Williams fires at people in their cars at the drive-thru before he returns to the payment window to be met with the unidentified trooper.

They both exchange fire.

Williams then retreats from the window momentarily before returning and firing another shot inside.

He strikes a “Good Samaritan” who is attempting to assist the off-duty trooper and render aid to the victim inside, according to the video.

Williams then shoots at multiple vehicles stopped at a nearby red light, striking three victims, before running to a nearby Tesla charging station.

He fires at the first Tesla he sees before fatally shooting Dale Schultz, 66, and hitting the man’s now gravely injured wife, Reinette , inside their car – all while a third armed good Samaritan is firing at him.

Still holding his gun he then moved inside the nearby Twin Falls Visitor’s Center with the video showing two people cowering in the corner as he sulks around the location.

Finally then makes his way to a hiking trail, where a brave bystander tried to halt him to give others time to run away.

In a climactic moment, a officer’s bodycam footage captures the moment he spots Williams on a nearby river bank.

He shouts: “Hey, show me your hands.”

At that very moment, Williams “dies of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and falls into the canyon.”

A statement at the end of the video said: “The Twin Falls Police Department is certain that additional acts of heroism and rendering aid to those in need contributed to the saving of lives,” the statement reads.

“At least ten people were left injured from the mass shooting, which remains under investigation, according to the department.”

In a statement, the fast food chain said: “In-n-Out is heartbroken as we mourn the tragic loss of three innocent lives, one of them being our Associate Ashley Garibay.”
