"Married At First Sight's Leisha Calls Out Reiss for His Manipulative Tactics and Shocking Gift!"

MARRIED At First Sight’s Leisha Lightbody has taken a swipe at ex Reiss Boyce and accused him of having a game plan.

The former couple had a turbulent time on the show with many viewers surprised that they managed to complete the experiment as an item.

But their time together in the real world lasted just one month, before reconnected with his ex-girlfriend and Towie star Dani Imbert, 31.

Speaking to star Samantha Kenny on her Kiss and Tell podcast , Leisha said her “clever” friend predicted what was going to happen.

She explained that her pal said, “he’ll get back with his ex and do some other show. They’ll make a public announcement and that’s pretty much what he wanted. And it wouldn’t surprise me if they were in on it together.”

admitted similar thoughts had crossed her mind and she contacted Dani, who told her “no, that wasn’t the case.”

Samantha is good friends with Dani, describing her as a “girls’ girl” who wouldn’t purposely set out to cause trouble.

Leisha, who was on Friday, insisted she had no idea about Reiss’s romantic past until her sister told her about Dani over the phone during the experiment.

She said: “I was like that’s fine, it’s not ideal. I just wanted somebody who didn’t have that connection and stuff. I didn’t want to be in a triangle or have any beef.”

Leisha said she and Reiss were “intimate from day dot”, but in the real world he turned cold after Leisha sought reassurance he was done with Dani for good.

Her suspicions had been triggered when they set about planning a holiday together.

Leisha wanted to go to Greece, but Reiss was itching to go to Portugal, where Towie was coincidentally filming. They didn’t go anywhere in the end, and Leisha doesn’t know for sure Reiss’s motivations for picking Portugal, but it played on her mind.

And her suspicions increased shortly after the split when she looked into a gift he had given her.

Reiss presented her with Dubai chocolate, which he claimed he picked up from Stansted Airport.

But Leisha said she looked into it and found that that type of chocolate isn’t available there, causing her to question if Reiss had received it from Dani after her trip to Dubai earlier in the year.

Just weeks ago, Reiss told The Sun why he called it quits, saying: “What pushed me away was the drama.”

He said: “There were certain things that happened off camera that were too dramatic for me.

“I was sitting with Leisha one night and she said to me, ‘Did you go on holiday earlier in the year or last year?’ I said, ‘I went to Marbella with a few of my mates’.

“She said, ‘Oh…’ and I said, ‘What’s the matter?’ She said, ‘I don’t like boys who go to Marbella’.

“She got a bit funny with me and I said, ‘Are you actually getting the hump about me going on holiday before I even knew you?’ She was p***** off. It was that kind of stuff that was pushing me away.”

He also claimed Leisha showed her jealous side when a crew member appeared to compliment his looks.

He said: “One of the female producers on MAFS said to me, ‘Your hair is getting long, are you going to have a hair cut or keep it long?’

“It was coming towards the end of the experiment – I was with Leisha at the time – and I said, ‘I don’t know yet’.

“When me and Leisha walked away, she was fuming. I said, ‘What’s the matter?’ She said, ‘You better get a haircut now’. I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ I’m guessing it was because the woman said she liked my hair long.”
