Ruben Amorim asserts that Manchester United let two points slip away during the first half of their thrilling draw with Bournemouth, despite leading at the break.
However, he attributed the two goals they conceded within the first seven minutes of the second half to their downfall.

However, Eli Junior Kroupi scored the eighth goal of the dramatic match.
Evanilson equalized just 37 seconds into the second half, and Marcus Tavernier put Bournemouth ahead 3-2 in the 52nd minute.
Even though United scored twice in rapid succession to regain the lead, they conceded to Eli Junior Kroupi six minutes from the end. Amorim lamented the dominant first-half performance where United had 24 attempts at goal.
“You could argue that we lost the two points in the second half,” Amorim stated.
“We should have scored more goals. The result at half-time should have been different.
“Similar to our match against Nottingham Forest, we conceded two goals very quickly in the second half. However, we managed to regain the advantage.
“Then we needed to close out the game. Once again, it was an entertaining match to watch.
“I believe people enjoy watching Manchester United this season, but we need to combine both aspects effectively.
“Sometimes, finishing games is crucial to enhance the positive outcomes of everything we did well.”
Manchester United Player Ratings vs Bournemouth
MANCHESTER UNITED missed another opportunity to climb to fifth in the Premier League as they shared eight goals with Bournemouth in a thrilling encounter at Old Trafford.
United's 4-4 draw with Andoni Iraola’s team will be memorable as both sides were relentless in attack, lacking control, and filled with defensive errors.
While some players in attack can hold their heads high, not everyone in defense can say the same.
Take a look back at an extraordinary final match at Old Trafford before Christmas.
United have taken a 1-0 lead in five games this season but have failed to win any of them, with four of those occurrences happening since the beginning of last month.
Amorim’s squad has also struggled to break into the Premier League's top five in five of their last six matches.
However, the United manager denied that the team has a mentality issue after dropping more points.
“It’s about understanding the moments of the game,” Amorim added. “It’s about recognizing that.
“After halftime, we need to approach the second half differently.
“So it’s all interconnected; it’s not a mentality issue. It’s about understanding the game and how to play it at different moments.”
At least Amorim found some solace in United’s attacking style. They are currently the joint-second highest scorers in the Premier League this season, only 14 goals shy of the 44 they scored last year.
“That is the tradition of Manchester United. Keep pushing forward and trying to score. If you understand a bit about the club, as I have followed the Premier League for so long, you have not just the obligation to win games but also to win them in a specific way.
“That’s important for the fans. Of course, they are eager to win, but I sense they also want to be inspired when they come to Old Trafford.
“Today was inspiring.”
