Former England star Nicky Butt may be required to pay thousands in compensation for causing a man's leg injury in a motorcycle accident.
The Manchester United legend, aged 50, is being sued by motorcyclist Adam Fielding.

In October 2022, he pulled out at a junction in front of Mr. Fielding’s Honda while driving his Range Rover in Burnley.
Nicky Butt received a one-year driving ban from Blackburn magistrates.
He is now facing a separate civil lawsuit.
Mr. Fielding, 29, has previously shared that he has endured nearly two years of continuous pain.
He spent two weeks hospitalized with a broken left leg and required surgery to insert rods.
The accident resulted in him losing his physically demanding job, his social life, and altered his relationship dynamics as his girlfriend became his caregiver.
Mr. Fielding, who was employed by Screwfix, is represented by the personal injury law firm Minster Law.
The exact amount that Butt may have to pay remains unclear.
He has expressed regret and stated that he thinks about the accident daily.
High Court documents obtained by The Sun indicate that the two parties disagree on the details of the incident.
Typically, crash victims have three years to file a civil claim, so Mr. Fielding has submitted his claim just weeks ahead of the deadline.
A judge will need to make several rulings prior to a trial to determine whether Butt is liable for damages.
His representative was contacted for a comment.
