JONNY EVANS has gone from winning titles with Manchester United to secretly plotting the club’s transfers.
The retired defender filled his trophy cabinet with 12 titles during his playing days with the .

The Northern Irish man enjoyed a 19-year-long career in senior in which he also featured for , and .
The centre-back left United in 2015 for the Baggies but made an emotional return to in 2023.
Across his two spells at the club, he racked up 241 appearances in all competitions
The successful career saw him become a rich man, having earned a stunning £44million.
The biggest contract of his career came during his final three seasons with Leicester as he was paid £100,000-per-week, according to Capology.
His final deal at United between 2023 and 2025 was still worth £65,000-per-week after signing as a free agent.
Evans hung up his boots for the final time in May 2025 following a post-season tour of Asia.
This brought an end ot a 51-year record of players featuring for United who had played for .
Away from the pitch, Evans’ life is still dominated by United as he married MUTV presenter Helen McConnell in June 2013.
They tied the knot at a ceremony at Clough Presbyterian Church in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
The couple have since had three children, Lottie, 11, Heidi, 6, and Eli, 5.
Despite retiring from football, Evans has remained close to United for his post-playing career.

He now works at the club, having been appointed to a staff role in June 2025.
He landed the job of being head of loans and pathways at United, as he aimed to benefit the development of the young players.
The role saw him work directly with director of football Jason Wilcox.
He left the job in December in an amicable manner as he reportedly wanted to spend more time with his family.
Just , Evans has been helping out in the coaching staff as he was made an assistant for caretaker .
The move came following the sacking of after the 1-1 draw with Leeds United.
The Scot revealed that his former team-mate would be returning ahead of his first game in charge against .

He was kept in the position following the appointment of as interim manager.
The decision sees Evans continue to work with the first team and be a part of the coaching staff under the former boss.
Since the arrival of Carrick, United have enjoyed an upturn in form and have climbed to 3rd in the Prem table.
Carrick and co have guided the team to seven wins from nine games, including Sunday’s 3-1 victory over .
It remains to be seen whether or not he will remain with the club beyond the current season.
United are yet to make a decision on Carrick’s future and whether Evans will be kept on in the coaching team.
