Ray Wilkins
became the third player to leave Chelsea for United when his transfer went through in 1979.
He was signed by manager Dave Sexton for £825,000 and spent five years with the club.
Wilkins played nearly 200 times for United and won the FA Cup in 1983 before he left that year for .
The midfielder tragically died in 2018 at the age of 61.

There was then a 35-year gap before the next arrival at United from Chelsea.
That was until made the transfer after falling down the pecking order under at Stamford Bridge.

He played 285 times for the club and won the FA Cup, Europa League and Carabao Cup.

The former winner has struggled at United due to injuries.
