However, according to BBC Sport , Heaven is keen on representing England at the senior level, despite the Ghana Football Association keeping a close eye on his development.
This season, he has made seven appearances in the Premier League for United, starting in their last five matches.
Heaven has also played for England at various youth levels.
Yet, the talented young player is still awaiting his opportunity to break into the plans of senior coach Thomas Tuchel as preparations for the World Cup are underway.
The teenager is solely focused on joining the tournament with the Three Lions.
Heaven received praise from United's head coach Ruben Amorim after his impressive performance on Boxing Day.
In the post-match press conference, the Portuguese manager stated: “I am really pleased with Ayden. You can sense that he is improving with every game.
“He is young, but you can see that he plays intelligently, slows down the game, and enhances his performance as it progresses.
“He trained exceptionally well, and if he continues to play like this, it will be very challenging to replace him.”
The Ghana FA has been monitoring Heaven’s performances, hoping to persuade him to commit his international future to them instead of England.
However, they have lost this battle as he is determined to prove his value to Tuchel ahead of the World Cup.
Heaven became United’s first signing following Amorim’s appointment as head coach, having successfully attracted him from Arsenal earlier this year.
