MANCHESTER CITY were denied the chance to go top of the Premier League table for Christmas by an in-form Brentford side.
Ivan Toney – who was denied a place in England’s World Cup squad earlier this week – scored a brace to seal all three points for the Bees.
The striker put his side ahead just 16 minutes into the game, much to the shock of the home fans.
Foden equalised just before half time, but Toney silenced his doubters once again with a 97th minute winner.
