This has since resulted in 166 complaints to the UK regulator.
Viewers also complained that experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas for facilitating Grace’s behaviour.
A spokesperson for Ofcom said: “Complaints related to the experts allegedly enabling Grace’s treatment of Ashley.”
Yesterday, Grace hit out at her ex in a post, sharing pictures of her speaking to co-stars Keye and Leigh.
She captioned the post: “I expect you to accept no for an answer.
“I expect you to prioritise my discomfort over your desire for sex.
“I expect you to act like a grown man capable of self-control.”
Grace jokingly added: “Sponsored by Canesten Duo.”
In previously aired scenes, the MAFS cast got together for their weekly dinner party, and things came to a head for the warring couple.
Things then went from bad to worse for the couple following Wife Swap week.
Ashley realised that he was “happier” during his time away from Grace.
Meanwhile, Grace thought her husband was acting “selfish” when he returned, and wasn’t willing to sort things out.
In Wednesday night’s episode things finally came to a head and the couple admitted that they could “no longer go on”.
Following another argument at the dinner table, Ashley stormed off and admitted to wanting to leave the show.
“I’d hate to hurt Grace’s feelings. I just feel like I can’t give any more to this. So I have to be selfish and put myself first,” the tearful groom told producers.
Ashley was then seen with his head in his hands, while an emotional Grace admitted the relationship was over.
While stroking his back, she said chocking back the tears: “I would have really liked if this had worked out.
“I think we recognise now there was never anyway it was going to (work).
“But yeah, you do know that deep down.”
Speaking to the camera, Grace later said: “I think there was a time where Ash and I had something worth fighting for.
“But I just don’t think he’s listening. If I could have got through to Ash, if I could have helped Ash see where I’m coming from, I’m not convinced he will ever see my point of view.
“But I hope he’ll come close to it at some point. Maybe he could have been the one. There’s so much I love about Ash, that’s never changed.
“But I think it’s just too far gone now. It’s just beyond repair.”
It came a few days after a earlier this week, which saw the couple on the verge of leaving.
Despite Grace breaking down as she spoke to the experts, she chose to “stay” another week.
But the pair have since quit the show after spending Home Stays apart.
