During last night’s launch show, , 31, left fans fuming following her treatment of , 31.

The Scottish bride cruelly snubbed her groom at the altar, and branded him “over the top”.

The experts matched her with hopeful romantic who wanted to sweep his wife off his feet by being a gentleman.

However, Sarah admitted she had wanted a “bad boy” with “lots of tattoos“.

While Dean gushed “this is the woman for me” as the smitten lad paid her a number of compliments, Sarah had her reservations and told the producers: “No, I don’t fancy Dean. So sorry.”

Sarah then angered fans more during a sneak peek to to tonight’s episode when she appeared to fat-shame Dean.

It came when the bride confessed that she had never dated anyone as “big” as Dean, which came as a huge blow to him.

“Have you been with anyone bigger than me?” Dean asked Sarah.

She then bluntly replied: “No,” and repeatedly shook her head.

Fans were left fuming with Sarah following her behaviour towards Dean.

Taking to X/Twitter, one fan said: “Sarah could be a contender for one of this seasons villains, time will tell.”

While another added: “Sarah and her friends are just being rude now … I don’t like this.”

This one vented: “Fair enough you’re not feeling him but no need to be so mean!”

A fourth person tweeted: “Sarah is defo giving off villain vibes!”

Last night viewers watched as Dean nervously walk down the aisle, and was greeted with a frosty reception from Sarah family and bridesmaids.

The bride’s friend Caitlin even told the camera: “Looks are very important to Sarah and he is definitely not Sarah’s type.

“But in the past Sarah hasn’t always chosen the right sort of guy, so I think it’s a good thing.”

Dean anxiously waited for his bride to arrive, but as soon as Sarah saw him she looked less than impressed.

Things went from bad to worst, when the groom performed a rap at the altar.

It didn’t go down well with his new wife or her family, who were left cringing.

Sarah admitted: “He’s just over the top which has put me right off.

“I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed, the rap is not something I envisaged. I have to say I was not expecting that.”

Despite her apprehension, the pair made it through the vows.

Clearly oblivious of how Sarah was truly feeling, a chuffed Dean said: “It was way better than I could have ever hoped, this is my type of lady.”

After the wedding, Sarah admitted Dean was not her type of person and grimaced when talking about him.

She also swerved their first kiss and told him to only peck her on the cheek.

Speaking to the camera, she said: “Dean is such a lovely guy but I’ve got to be honest I don’t want to rip his clothes off.”

The wedding day went from day to worse as the reception kicked off.

Sarah found it difficult to find any common ground with Dean after he told he doesn’t go to the gym or have tattoos.

The pair then clashed when Dean admitted he’s a romantic guy, while Sarah said she wasn’t.

He said: “I have been over the top before like love poems, ” to which Sarah replied: “Oh no please don’t write me a poem.”

Speaking away from him, she said: “I am a bit worried because all I can think about is that I don’t fancy you.

“He is so lovely, I’m just sensing a friend vibe more than a romantic vibe and I haven’t come here for a friend vibe.”

At the table, Sarah again made it clear to her bridesmaid that she didn’t get what she had ordered.

She told Dean: “My usual type is a walking talking red flag, like they’re just come out of jail.”

Dean said: “I’m very much not a bad boy, I’m actually very good, I’m like a mummy’s boy.”

He then surprised Sarah a second time by performing a romantic song, just hours after his rap at the altar, which in turn didn’t go down well.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
