Luke Fourniotis had good reason to speed back to his hotel room after he left his wedding rings on the side and only realised while en route to the ceremony the first time.
While heading to his wedding, someone asked him where the rings were.
Luke did not realise he was meant to bring the rings with him, and left them on the countertop, so when he realised, the limo turned around and sped back to the room.
Mel was left unimpressed as she stood on her own waiting for her groom, not knowing why he hadn’t arrived yet and fearing she had been jilted.
He then arrived, but Mel was still left deflated by the ordeal.
“How do you mess it up like that?” she asked in a confessional.
“The experience for me, I feel like it was a bit ruined,” she added.
Reacting to Mel having to wait for Luke, viewers on X were not impressed.

Mel later complained how Luke was chewing gum as she read out her vows.
He later spat his gum out and gave it to his sister before he read his vows out.
“OMG IS HE CHEWING GUM,” said one person.
A second asked: “Those are his sisters??? And they didn’t tell him in the limo to remove his gum???”
“Ok the gum would make me gag,” said a third.
