And now fellow Islander Helena has taken a swipe at Jessy for putting no effort into her connection with Tommy after she left the villa.

Helena exclusively told The Sun that Jessy did not message Tommy once after leaving the show and insisted she lead him on for “airtime”.

She said: “With the whole Tommy thing, Tommy was obviously the only single boy, hence why she went for him.

“They’ve not had a conversation since they left the villa.

“I was like ‘I said this the whole time’, and she was trying to defend herself and say ‘I really like Tommy’ and I was like ‘no you don’t, I know you don’t like that boy’ and he deserves someone that really likes him.”

Helena said it wasn’t a surprise when she heard the news of their split – as she insisted that Jessy was “pretending” all along.

She continued: “I wasn’t surprise at all, I saw it on a clip on TikTok where even n and I thought ‘god, you haven’t even tried, as if you haven’t even tried to have the conversation with him or speak to him’.

“It proves my point again about the airtime thing, you pretended to like Tommy to stay longer.

“I wasn’t wrong in what I said.”

Helena said Tommy is taking it on the chin, despite feeling let down.

She shared: “It was my birthday on Friday and I asked if they had spoken and he said ‘nah, we haven’t spoken’, he was quite blasé about it but I think Tommy knew deep down that they weren’t going to continue speaking. It is sad.

“I warned Tommy about it in the villa, I didn’t want him to take my words on board and not make his own decisions but I was like ‘just keep this in the back of your mind that I don’t think she’s genuine’ and it just proves my point that she’s not even tried to message him since they’ve come out.”

Helena revealed that she invited Jessy to her birthday bash but she didn’t attend.

Elsewhere in the interview, Helena doubled down and said she believed Jessy’s outburst towards Lucinda was all .

She told us: “Jessy came into the villa knowing at the time that Lucinda wasn’t liked and Belle was.

“She came in on a motive to ‘befriend Belle and maybe don’t befriend Lucinda’.

“Jessy came in on smoke towards Lucinda and was telling Lucinda off essentially about things that Jessy wasn’t in the villa whilst it happened. She was having a go at her, but she wasn’t even in the villa at this point

“It almost felt like an attack every time and Lucinda couldn’t say or do anything right and she was mimicking her.

“I think Jessy thought if she went in and went on the attack to Lucinda that it would be received well by the public.

“Obviously she’s gone in there and the whole scripts been flipped and that’s not the narrative anymore.”

We revealed this week that .

A source said: “Jessy and Tommy were only ever in the early stages of their romance but once they left the villa, they knew it was just a friendship.

“They realised that a romantic connection was never going to work and have decided to nip it in the bud.

“They weren’t really communicating much after the villa and struggled to navigate their early connection after leaving the show.

“They have agreed to stay friends and there are no hard feelings.”

Helena previously told Love Island host in her exit interview that she when it came to her pal Tommy.

Helena said: “When Jessy came in and started talking about stuff that’s she’s not even involved in I was like ‘why are you piping up?’ ‘What’s going on here?’

“I think something went on between Jessy and Lucinda on the outside.

“I think something went on between Jessy and Lucinda on the outside.

“I think they were friends and then maybe not friends and I think she’s bringing up things from outside into the villa and seeing that Lucinda is making comments at Belle and then went full force at Lucinda when she came in.”

Maya asked what she thought about Jessy’s intentions towards Tommy.

Helena insisted that she’s “not into him” and is just “latching” onto him.

She continued: “I don’t buy Jessy and Tommy, maybe it comes from a place that I’m super protective over Tommy.

“Where he’s so pure and young, I don’t want anyone to break his heart. You know when a nice boy gets their heart broken and then turn into a nasty piece of work.

“I’m not saying that Jessy’s that person to do that, but I don’t think she’s into Tommy at all.”

then asked why Jessy was continuing to pursue Tommy if she has no interest in him, which prompted Helena to bluntly respond: “Airtime.

“Involving herself in the drama, latching onto Tommy, there’s a plan that she had and it backfired when her dad came on and said those comments to her.”
