Friends revealed that singer Louis spent thousands of pounds to fly 5,000 miles to see him while he’s making his next album.
They are thought to be at a secluded villa on the coast in Santa Teresa.
A source said: “Louis and Zara are going from strength to strength.
“He got his team to organise her first-class travel from London to Costa Rica over the weekend. It meant Zara was unable to attend the TV Baftas but she is keen to spend as much time with Louis as possible
“He’s been out in Costa Rica for a few weeks recording his album and is keen to show her the sights.”;;
In a few weeks, Louis will be back in the UK for , taking to the pitch at for the annual charity match.
But insiders said Zara wouldn’t be heading to the stadium to cheer him on.
