The weapons were converted by far-right extremist Thomas McKenna , 60, who lived on a caravan site in South Ockenden, Essex, and had set himself up as an armourer for the criminal underworld.

In one bugged conversation, Razzaq told an associate, Abdul Rahman Saleh, that if ever tried to detain him, he should not hesitate to shoot at them in order to escape.

He told Saleh: “Feds try and grab you, just shoot at the car, shoot in the air.

“I don’t care where you shoot but you’ve got to shoot bro.”

An officer from the Met’s specialist crime command said: “This is a shocking thing to hear for someone who had already served a lengthy sentence over the fatal shooting of a police officer.”

Mum-of-three Sharon, 38, was shot dead in 2005 when answering a call to a robbery at a travel agency in Bradford.

When the robbers burst from the premises, one of them shot at Shron and her fellow colleague, , who was hit but survived the attack.

Razzaq, originally from Forest Gate, East London, was convicted of manslaughter and was sentenced to life with a minimum of 11 years.

After his release in 2017 he sold guns using the cover of a car hire firm in Bushey, Herts.

At Harrow crown court he was jailed for life with a minimum of eight years after admitting offences including conspiracy to sell firearms.
