A WOMAN has shared the completely free way she’s managed to look younger in her 50s than she did in her 40s – with NO surgery or Botox.
Nadiya frequently shares her beauty and make-up hacks on her social media pages, and explained in a new video that has done her a “massive favour”.

Predicting that there may be some backlash from trolls, Nadiya insisted she knows “exactly how old” she looks – but she’s happy and confident in her appearance.
And it was two big changes that she made in her life that had such a dramatic, positive impact on her visage.
The first was giving up .
“Alcohol causes water retention and puffiness and inflammation in the skin,” she said in a video on her TikTok page.
“It’s actually inflammation internally and it shows in your face, particularly the eyes and the nose.
“Your nose is bigger when you are a heavy drinker and you have very, very heavy eyelids and puffy eye bags.”
As Nadiya had such heavy lids – meaning they couldn’t even be seen in some snaps – the eye area is one of the areas she’s noticed the biggest chance since ditching drinking.
And the bone and fat loss that comes part and parcel with ageing has also been hugely beneficial for Nadiya.
“It happens – people’s chins recede, their cheekbones become more sunken, the temples become more noticeable and the eyes become more sunken,” she said.
“And consequently with aging it’s made me look like I’ve had an upper (eyelid surgery), which a lot of people ask me about.
“So bring it on!”
While some people turn to filler to give their face a “softer curve” – consequently making them look younger – Nadiya isn’t interested in getting any such procedures.
“Now you can see here I have had here as well in my temples which could do with filling, but I don’t really want a big round face,” she said.
“I don’t mind that so I’m keeping it.
“But it’s an option for you guys that want to have that, that want to have a more youthful kind of softer curve to their skin.
“For now I’m not that bothered!”
Why is turmeric good for anti-ageing?
A study published in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that turmeric and curcumin may help prevent DNA damage and aid in DNA repair.
This is promising news for disease prevention and slowing the ageing process. It also:
Boosts Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that maintains the skin’s elasticity and firmness. As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles and sagging skin. Turmeric helps stimulate collagen synthesis, thereby promoting firmer and more youthful skin.
Improves Skin Health: Turmeric has been shown to improve various skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the skin, reduce redness, and promote a clearer complexion.
“Ageing has had its ups and downs. These are some of the ups,” Nadiya captioned her TikTok.
And the comments section was immediately flooded with people complimenting Nadiya.
“Honestly if I saw you on the street I would think such a beautiful attractive lady,” one wrote.
“We don’t need to be 20 to look beautiful – beauty doesn’t have age limits.
“We are so blessed to be able to live and enjoy this life, not everyone has this chance.”
“Oh my god you don’t even look like the same person! So much of a glow up!” another gushed.
“May I say, in the before photos, your eyes look sad, like they don’t have their sparkle,” a third said.
“The after, now, you look bright, alive and happy – sparkling!”
“Exactly spot on!” Nadiya replied.
“I was not in a great place then and I’m much happier now! Thank you for your lovely comment.”
