The Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has issued a stern warning to motorists against indiscriminate parking of vehicles across the state, emphasizing that violators risk facing the full weight of the law.

Speaking with journalists on Tuesday, LASPA General Manager, Mrs Adebisi Adelabu, disclosed that the agency responded to a public complaint by issuing a 24-hour removal notice to the owners of 30 trucks and seven cars found parked illegally along Sapara Williams Street in Ikeja.

Adelabu stressed that LASPA remains committed to upholding the integrity of designated parking areas and protecting public infrastructure.

She warned that failure to remove the vehicles within the stipulated timeframe would lead to strict enforcement actions.

“Motorists must take this as a serious reminder that the days of haphazard parking are over,”; she said. “We will not hesitate to take necessary steps to ensure Lagos roads remain accessible and orderly.”;
