Barcelona have opened a seven-point gap over Real Madrid in LaLiga, following the last-gasp 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid on Saturday night.

Hansi Flick’s men had the chance to increase their advantage at the top of the log, after Real Madrid lost 2-1 at Mallorca earlier in the day.

But they suffered a setback at the Wanda Metropolitano as Giuliano Simeone gave the hosts the lead in the first half.

Marcus Rashford ensured that Barca went into the break level, finishing off a fine move.

Atletico also ended the half with 10 men after Nico Gonzalez was shown a straight red card.

Although they battled bravely on, Robert Lewandowski netted the winner in the 87th minute.
