LOOKING incredible in a sheer swimsuit, Kym Marsh grinned from ear to ear as she posed on a stunning beach in the Maldives.
It appeared she was travelling alone as she gushed about her amazing trip, but The Sun can reveal it was in fact a romantic break with her new man, Tom, just weeks after getting together. But the lavish holiday rang alarm bells amongst Kym’s inner circle, who say they are concerned for the star.

An insider told us: “Everyone was very surprised when Kym went to the Maldives with Tom.
“They are not surprised she tried to keep it a secret; they have been dating for a very short time, and people are worried she rushes into things.
“They are concerned she’s getting a bit of a reputation for her dating life and don’t want her to feel humiliated if this doesn’t work out.”
The Sun first revealed Kym, 49, who played Rovers barmaid Michelle Connor after rising to fame in the band Hear’Say, .
It was only eight months after she had , who she had insisted was her ‘soulmate’.
But things were already moving quickly – after just a few dates with Tom, Kym was introducing him to her friends and even posting him online.
Our insider continued: “It all happened so fast, one minute she was single and the next she was all over a new man.
“She’s desperate for her happy ever after, so she really does throw herself into things.”
While Kym only shared snaps of herself from the trip, Tom’s Instagram account was full of pics, showing what a romantic time they had together.
He wrote alongside one: “Maldives wrap up, paradise that place and literally laughed from start to finish with my beauty.”
Kym replied: “Best holiday ever! I love you so much.”
The couple even enjoyed a private dinner on the beach, surrounded by candles – usually reserved for proposals.
And it seems an engagement might not be too far off, with our sources saying: “The way things are going, it looks like it might not be long until they make things really official.
“They have talked about moving in together already and are really thinking about their future.

“Everyone is happy they are so in love, but they do wish she would be more cautious.”
And in another sign of just how committed they are – the couple have got themselves a puppy.
Not too long ago, Kym admitted she will never get married again, saying: “I’ve been married three times, and three times it’s not gone well — so no more for me.
“Three strikes and I’m out.”
But love does have a funny way of working, and pals are said to have admitted they wouldn’t be surprised if Tom changes her mind.

Kym and Tom are said to have met through friends and had an ‘instant’ connection.
She had been looking for a man at the time, despite being only recently single, and signed up to .
On her profile, the mum-of-three said the way to woo her is “making me laugh until my ribs hurt”, which is exactly what it sounds like Tom did.
She describes herself as an “actor/presenter” whose typical Sunday is “lie-in, dog walks and roast dinners”.
She also said dating her is like “being on The Truman Show — but it’s never boring!”
If Kym’s life is like The Truman Show, it’s because she often can’t resist sharing moments from her private life herself, and it’s certainly not her first rodeo with a whirlwind romance.
Certified Sex and Relationship Coach Gemma Nice believes Kym has a tendency to “repeat unhealthy patterns”.
She told us: “People tend to move quickly in due to not actually healing from the trauma of the past one and not allowing your emotions to be seen – meaning they can’t or don’t let themselves grieve for the past relationship.
“They just bring the trauma into the next relationship. It’s risky behaviour.”

Last year, Kym shocked fans when she revealed she had fallen in love with her 101 Dalmatians co-star Samuel Thompson when they appeared on stage together.
It was a swift six months, which saw her sharing endless loved-up selfies and even declaring he was her ‘soulmate’.
She was forced to defend their romance after being , telling them to “do one” and “grow up and get on with [their] own life”.

But fast forward to 2024, just six months after they went public and the pair had gone their separate ways, with a source telling The Sun the split was “cordial”.
It was her first serious relationship since splitting from , in 2023.
Scott met Kym just three months after , and it wasn’t long until things went up a notch. He proposed on Kym’s birthday in 2021, and they wed later that year.
Their opposing schedules and Scott’s time away in the army meant it only lasted 18 months.

Kym addressed her “learned” resilience to tough events in her life in an interview shortly after, telling the Guardian : “It’s just experience.”
The former Hear’Say singer added: “I think I am a risk-taker because ‘What if?’ is always worse.
“Comfortable is not good. I always want to be that person who has a go, because I wouldn’t want to sit there years down the line and say: ‘I wonder what would have happened if?’”
And she has done just that when it comes to men.
Her first was with actor and 00s heartthrob Jack Ryder.
They crossed paths in the BBC canteen while she was doing Top of the Pops and he was starring as Jamie Mitchell in the BBC soap.
The pair tied the knot in 2002, but then in 2008, they decided to go their separate ways, and their divorce was announced the following year.
Before her divorce was even finalised, Kym started dating hunk .
It was only four months after her split from Jack, but they had met the year before in 2007 on a train on the way to the TV Quick Awards.
Perhaps not surprisingly, things moved quickly and less than two months after getting together, she fell pregnant with their first child.

Tragically, the little boy, who they named Archie, died shortly after being born 18 weeks early.
They had another child – a little girl called Polly, now 14, in 2011, and they married the following year.
It wasn’t completely smooth sailing, and reports at the time revealed she had forgiven Jamie for allegedly cheating on her ahead of their wedding.
It then emerged that Kym had allegedly cheated on Jamie just five months after getting married – with her Corrie co-star Oliver Mellor.
Oliver, who is now married to , claimed they embarked on a five-month affair after sharing scenes together in 2013 and fell deeply in love.
Despite all that, Kym was said to be blindsided when Jamie asked for a divorce in 2014.
She was ever the romantic, though, and said shortly after: “It hasn’t made me bitter or made me rule out getting married again.
“You never know what the future holds, and one of the things I’ve learnt is to have no regrets and never say never.”
Interestingly, her most lasting relationship who she shares children David, 31, and Emilie, 28.
He was a local builder, and she had dreams of being famous. They dated just before she found fame on the telly talent show, but have remained close ever since.
Just this year, she gushed: “Dave is not only the father of my two firstborn children but is also one of my best friends in the world.”
It seems laughter and companionship are at the heart of what Kym is looking for – but if Tom has that winning combination, only time will tell.
