“His fiancée is a fitness expert and together they really are that perfect good-looking, clean-living couple, which after everything that’s happened over the last few years is exactly what the bosses want.

“He’s set to sign in the coming weeks.”

Julian helped take Balvinder to last year’s semi-final and wasn’t afraid to show his more emotional side in front of the cameras.

The source added: “Julian is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to show emotion. He’s a genuine nice guy and is very much part of Strictly’s future.”

Julian also has 52,000 followers on – and social media presence played a huge part in the process of deciding which pros should return.

A Strictly spokeswoman said: “Plans for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be confirmed in due course.”
