JONATHAN Ross has shared more behind-the-scenes secrets and disclosed the location where the Celeb Traitors stay, despite strict warnings from BBC executives.

Outside of the show, the star has been revealing what truly happens during the filming of the popular series.
In a conversation with his daughter Honey on their podcast, Reel Talk, he stated: “A lot is edited out, and I understand why I can’t discuss what has been cut.
“When I began to talk about it last week, we received a list reminding us of the aspects of our contracts that we cannot disclose. So, I will try to navigate around it as much as possible without breaking any rules.”
Despite the restrictions, he divulged some details about the show.
On the latest podcast episode, he mentioned: “We are not allowed to keep our phones or iPads. We have no connection to the outside world whatsoever.
“Those of us with smart watches had them taken away as well, which makes sense since they could connect to WiFi for emails.
“This serves two purposes: to ensure no one cheats… not that anyone would have done.
“For instance, in the celebrity version, if someone is banished or murdered, the others would know the next day who the traitors are if they had each other's phone numbers.
“I doubt anyone would do that, but it’s wise to be cautious.
“Additionally, it can be quite destabilizing. We all found it to be an incredibly immersive experience. You really get into it and feel somewhat trapped, likely because you lack your usual outlets for stress relief.”
He continued: “Without your phone, you can’t check emails, you have no idea what’s happening outside, and you don’t even know the time. This forces you to engage more fully than you might otherwise, making it a clever strategy.”
He also discussed the accommodation situation and shared where all the celebrities stayed.
Jonathan elaborated: “We all stayed at the same hotel, although I can’t say that for certain since you never see who is in which room. We were at the Inverness Airport Hotel, which was nice. It was adequate, though I wouldn’t typically stay there for several nights.”
“As the filming progressed, we found it somewhat claustrophobic, and there was no bath in our room. After completing the first challenge involving pushing a massive Trojan horse up a hill, we all craved a hot bath – especially the older contestants – but we could only take showers.”
“The food they prepared for us was quite good, and they took care of us… I believe we were all in the same hotel, but I can’t be sure. We were completely isolated from one another, and there was no phone in the room. To order food or communicate, you had to slide a note under the door.
“We had TVs set up, and before they confiscated our phones, we could log into Netflix and Amazon and such… when we first arrived, prior to the game starting. I had mine set up, and during my downtime, I watched House.
“One day off, I binge-watched 11 episodes of House in one go. I chose House because it was comforting to watch something familiar, especially with all the surprises outside.”
Another aspect of the show that Jonathan discussed is his gameplay.
“I don’t think I played the game particularly well. Some contestants weren’t playing effectively, while I believe Clare was trying to be strategic. She seemed to have figured me out more clearly than what was shown on screen,” he revealed to his daughter Honey.
Jonathan added: “In the Uncloaked episode, when she sees my name, she says, ‘Oh, I was going to choose him last night’ – because I had said something to her previously that likely made her suspect me. That part wasn’t included in the show since it didn’t lead to the roundtable, but I think she was quite sure it was me.”
He continued: “You can imagine how pleased I was when she chose Charlotte’s name instead. She was playing smart because she knew she lacked enough support for my claim, and if she named me and I was a Traitor, I might retaliate, so she opted for this strategy to keep me closer and possibly eliminate me later.”
