A SUSPICIOUS statement confirming Jeffrey Epstein’s death the day before he died has surfaced among the millions of newly-released files.
The notorious sex offender was found hanged in his cell on the morning of August 10, 2019, but a document from the Manhattan US Attorney’s office mysteriously records his death on August 9.

Epstein’s sudden suicide came as he was being held at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan on charges of sex trafficking minors and conspiracy.
Prison records and official accounts show that a corrections officer found Epstein unresponsive while delivering breakfast.
In the statement, then–Manhattan US Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman wrote: “Earlier this morning, the Manhattan Correctional Center confirmed that Jeffrey Epstein, who faced charges brought by this Office of engaging in the sex trafficking of minors, had been found unresponsive in his cell and pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
“Today’s events are disturbing, and we are deeply aware of their potential to present yet another hurdle to giving Epstein’s many victims their day in Court.
“To those brave young women who have already come forward and to the many others who have yet to do so, let me reiterate that we remain committed to standing for you, and our investigation of the conduct charged in the Indictment.”
Epstein had been held in the New York jail since July 6, 2019, and was awaiting trial when he died suddenly a month later.
Medics tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him after the grim discovery and the New York City medical examiner later ruled his death a suicide by hanging.
Cops have been plagued by conspiracy theories since and a litany of failures on the evening of Epstein’s death have only fanned the flames.
Prison records show that guards assigned to monitor Epstein did not carry out the proper overnight checks during overnight hours.
Scheduled rounds at 3am and 5am were missed and cameras located outside of his cell malfunctioned, according to official findings.
Surveillance footage showing the staircase leading up to his cell mysteriously cuts around midnight, leaving a critical gap.
Because of these failures, investigators were unable to establish a definite timeline of Epstein’s final night.
There is still no officially determined time of death.

And a newly-released FBI report suggest that the figure may have been another inmate.

It notes that at 10.39pm on August 9, 2019, agents observed that “a flash of orange looks to be going up the L Tier stairs – could possibly be an inmate escorted up to that Tier.”
The inspector general appeared to disagree with the FBI’s assessment, writing: “Inmates are currently on lockdown, it is possible someone is carrying inmate linen or bedding up.”
Both analyses contradict public statements made by at least two top US officials.
Former US attorney general Bill Barr, who served during Trump’s first term, claimed in a 2019 interview that he had reviewed security footage and confirmed that no one entered Epstein’s prison area.
And former deputy director of the FBI told Fox News:
“There’s video clear as day. He’s the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.
“We are working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced [version] and we’re going to give the original so you don’t think there were any shenanigans.”
The final report by the Inspector General stated: “At approximately 10:39 p.m., an unidentified CO appeared to walk up the L Tier stairway, and then reappeared within view of the camera at 10:41 p.m.”
Forensic experts told CBS in 2019 that the orange blob that appears may have actually been another prisoner.
Conor McCourt, a retired NYPD sergeant and forensic video expert, told the broadcaster: “Based on the limited video, it’s more likely a person in an [orange] uniform.”
Video forensic expert Jim Safford and four fellow respected voices in the field argued: “To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that, the stairs up to his room, without being seen, is false.”
