JACQUI OATLEY and her ITV team have bid an emotional farewell as they approach the final matches of the Players Championship Finals.
The presenter also confirmed that she will not be part of the setup for 2026, as ITV has decided to continue broadcasting some darts events free-to-air.

Oatley expressed her feelings on X on Sunday: “It’s a very sad day for all of us, but we’re determined to make the most of it and enjoy the moment.”
Commentator Stuart Pyke also shared his sentiments from Minehead: “It’s a sad day… after 17 years, it’s the end of the road for ITV Sport on the [board emoji].”
“The darts will continue on ITV, but not with the fantastic team that it’s been a pleasure to work alongside… friends for life, and we hope to go out with a bang.”

From next year, the sport will be aired on ITV4, and staff members are still uncertain about their roles in the new setup.

Events such as the European Championship Finals, Players Championship Finals, and World Masters will all be available for free viewing.
ITV has secured a new five-year deal that allows them to continue broadcasting the World Championship, World Cup of Darts, Premier League, Grand Slam, and more.
