EVERTON star Jack Grealish is locked in a row with the local authority over plans for the woodland behind his £5.6 million mansion.
The footie ace plans to change the woodland behind his mansion into a garden because he “loves growing vegetables.”

Council bosses have raised concerns that the move could lead to further building projects on the .
Midfielder lodged an application for a Certificate of Lawful Existing Use or Development.
The document would legally show that the garden’s current use does not require planning permission.
However, the local parish council has said if the 9.6 acres was classed as garden not woodland it would pave the way for future planning applications.
Concerns have been raised that the footie star would turn his property into an “urban sprawl.”
The authority even stated the dictionary definition of a in its bid to stop the move.
It went on to give examples of other green belt land locked in battles between locals and developers.
The local authority’s scathing letter reads: “The Parish Council wish to OBJECT to this application for the following reasons.
“The application site includes land that is not a ‘garden’ as defined in the English Dictionary, which states it to be ‘a piece of ground adjoining a private house usually enclosed where flowers, fruit or vegetables are cultivated and generally used for recreation.'”
According to the parish council a 2022 application by the mansion’s previous owner was denied.
The objection in that case was on “the grounds of being contrary to the essential characteristics of the which is their openness and permanence and to prevent urban sprawl by maintaining their openness.”
The authority continued on to say there was little difference between the previous application and the one made by Grealish.
But the midfielder stated in his planning application that he and his girlfriend enjoyed using the garden with their daughter Mila.
The footie ace and his girlfriend have previously stated how much they enjoy cultivating produce on the plots at their .

His application read: “Since I purchased the property my family and I have enjoyed individual practice and lessons, lessons and matches, and boating and fishing on the lake.
“We have used the lawns for regular entertaining with friends and general recreation.
“The garden spaces are used for exercising our dog and we grow vegetables in the allotment areas.”
The £100 million midfielder, currently on loan at from , application was backed by the mansion’s former chief gardener and the property’s former owner.
Grealish’s local parish council said if the application was approved by Cheshire East Council then it would lead to other major developments in the area.
The parish council pointed out, before Grealish bought the home, that the previous owner had wanted to build a retirement village on the estate.
Proposals for the plans were refused in February 2022.
