ISABEL Lucas announced she’s expecting her first child earlier this week – and it’s just the latest chapter in what’s been quite the wild life.
The former . star, 40, announced her happy news with a series of beachside photos where she showed off her growing baby bump and shared a smooch with her partner.


The actress captioned the post: “Sometimes words flow and sometimes the mystery is too vast and all that remains, is to feel.
“A new forever exists here. Among petals of silent wonder and pure love. Together we hold this miracle with tender heartful hands.”
She began her career with a regular role as character Tasha Andrews on the Australian soap.
After three years on the show, she left in 2006 and two years later, moved to to pursue a career in .
She’s since starred in some huge Hollywood productions including Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Immortals and action-adventure series MacGyver.

A-list love triangle


Isabel dated fellow actor Adrian Grenier for two years but they ended up parting ways in 2008 after she was caught in a compromising situation with another actor.
She and , who she worked with in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, were involved in a car crash after being t-boned by another car at an intersection.
Isabel was taken to hospital for minor injuries while Shia sustained a hand injury which required multiple surgeries.
Shia admitted to “philandering” with his co-star, and both described their connection as an experiment rather than a full blown relationship.
Shortly after the accident, Adrian split up with Isabel, reportedly citing that “the relationship wasn’t working out”.
A source told People at the time: “It wasn’t working out. Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it – the crash, their hanging out. He obviously didn’t appreciate it.”
Covid controversy

In November 2021, Isabel admitted she was “pro-choice” in regard to the vaccine.
She later clarified her comments on by saying she had “concerns around mandatory vaccination, not vaccination itself.”
In 2023, she opened up about why she decided to not get the Covid vaccination.
She told Stellar magazine : “For me, I appreciate, what might be right for you may not be right for me, but it’s not right that either of us are being stripped of the freedom to choose.
“Our relationship with our body is very personal and it’s deeply complex and so are our choices, and we’re claiming to engage in conversations about inclusion and diversity – you know, gender, , sexuality, – without allowing our beliefs or observations to be acknowledged,’ she continued.
“The diversity of choice is yet to be included, in my experience.”
Isabel joined hundreds of people at a protest for Australia’s Covid-19 vaccine mandates at the New South-Wales Queensland border.
Fleeing arrest

Back in October 2007, the Hollywood actress was part of a group of 30 people from Surfers for Cetaceans who took part in a protest against dolphin culling in Taiji, Wakayama, .
Dolphin culling is a method of hunting dolphins by herding them towards the shore with boats.
The group paddled out on surfboards to the dolphins in an attempt to thwart the hunt, but were forced to swim back after being stopped by one of the boats.
Isabel and the rest of the group, including American actress , drove straight to Kansai International Airport and left the country to avoid being arrested for trespassing by Japanese police.
There still exists an active arrest warrant for Isabel in .
