Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said Governor Sim Fubara is weak if the Minister is controlling the state House of Assembly.
Olayinka said Fubara is showing weakness if he allows Wike to control the political structure in the state.
He spoke while featuring on Channels Television’s Morning Brief.
According to Olayinka: “There are things that I will not come to this station to say. I know this political game very well, I have been around for a very long time.
“I know when people come and talk while another thing happens behind the closet.
“The one that people will talk on television will be different from the one that is happening. And on this Rivers issue, what people have come to tell you on television is different from what is happening, and the person of the governor knows that.
“If I’m a minister and you are a governor and I’m able to control your House of Assembly, then something is wrong with you, you are weak.
“If I’m here in Abuja and controlling 27 members of your House of Assembly, you only have three and they are not coming to the house again; that means that all entire members I’m the one controlling them, you should agree and admit that you are weak.
“You should come to me and prostate and do Twale to me. If Wike controls the political structure and you are the governor, then he should come to me and do Twale if you are wise, he should come and beg.
“If you are a governor and you can’t control any structure in your state, then what kind of governor are you? If another person is controlling your structure, it means that the person is stronger than you politically.”
