I'M A Celeb was thrown into disarray today as a thunderstorm struck the camp, prompting the evacuation of the stars.
All 12 campmates, including a model, rapper, and YouTuber, sought refuge in the Bush Telegraph for an hour while heavy rain and hail lashed down.

Filming for the show was delayed by three hours due to the harsh weather conditions at the Australian location.
The storm subsided after approximately two hours, with 50mm of rain recorded in Dungay, New South Wales.
Afterward, the celebrities had to dry their towels and sheets by the fire while some prepared to film that evening’s Bushtucker Trial.
A source from the show stated: “The camp was soaked and the storm caused filming delays, but everything is fine now.
“Our health and safety weather protocols were activated, and we evacuated the celebrities immediately to the Bush Telegraph until the storm passed and it was safe to return to camp.”
Severe weather can lead to blood-sucking leeches invading the camp.
It can also cause the site's creeks to “quickly transform from a trickle to a torrent.”
A thunderstorm struck the camp even before this year’s series began earlier this month.
Producers had to implement measures to minimize any potential damage to the site before the contestants arrived.
One source remarked at the time: “Never underestimate the Gold Coast weather – it can shift from 30°C heat to torrential storms in moments.”
During last year’s series, the campmates were evacuated to the Bush Telegraph twice due to inclement weather.
It was reported to be the wettest series in the ITV show’s history – with 114.5mm of rain falling in just 24 hours at one point.
Sun columnist, 63, shared that her bra became soaked in blood after a leech attached itself to her during one night in camp last year.
Reflecting on one evacuation, McFly‘s, 39 – who won the 2024 series – stated: “It was one of the most challenging nights.
“We were all quite cramped, and I believe there were still 12 of us then as well, all uncomfortably close together.
“The rain also meant the leeches were on the hunt, and I was literally checking for leeches every day.”
During one of the downpours in 2024, part of the set was damaged, and roads leading to the site were flooded.
This also resulted in a one-hour delay for a Bushtucker Trial.
