A HUGE puffer coat, a pair of UGGS and a cosy hat to keep warm – this is the go-to outfit for many as we enter the winter months.
But the chilly weather doesn’t necessarily mean you have to choose between

According to one fashionista, TikToker Fee, there’s no need to freeze this winter ”for the sake of a cute outfit” – and you can still make heads turn without sacrificing your health.
Fee, who posts under the username @ fee.fits , shared five easy ways to elevate your winter wardrobe and still keep warm during a cold snap – and one of them is thanks to a £4 buy.
It may sound obvious but her first tip was knowing how to layer – even outerwear, she said in the video .
”I don’t think there’s anything more chic than a classic, long wool coat. But let’s be honest – when the temperatures drop, they’re not always warm enough.
”What I like to do is layer my coats over one of these thin . Look for one with a V-neck, so it’s completely invisible under wool coats.
”They’re really light and easy to layer with but they’re so insulating and warm.”
Another tip to survive the harsh winter months is investing in leather gloves – or if you don’t want to fork out a fortune, check out Shein where you can find them for as little as £4.
and places like Vinted or eBay are also good for snapping up a pair on the cheap – and it’s a more environmentally-friendly option too.
”Small detail that people often forget about but a nice leather glove can really elevate and finish off a simple outfit – and don’t underestimate how much heat leaves your body through your hands,” Fee said.
The options here are endless – a classic brown or black for a more neutral outfit, or a chic burgundy for a pop of colour.
The fashionista’s third top tip was buying a thin cashmere tops, which are ideal for layering as the temperatures begin to drop.
Fee explained: ”Sometimes, I get a little bit bored of wearing bulky knits all the time, so a great workaround is to layer with thin cashmere tool tops.”
According to Fee, these can easily be layered under a jacket, a blazer – and even ”over each other”.
A pair of cosy might be all the rage – but let’s face it, the trendy winter boot is not the most elegant option out there.
Instead, Fee advised to ditch them for sole boots worn with longer socks.
Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget
By, Fabulous Fashion Editor
AS someone who’s no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it’s about time that celebrities started catching on too.
For as long as I’ve been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those “I have nothing to wear” moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.
And I’m definitely not alone – on any Friday or Saturday night, you’ll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.
But no matter what, Primark always delivers.
Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.
While Rita’s not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she’s proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.
Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.
With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I’m sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.
She said: ”Knee boots are such a must for me because they make styling dresses and skirts in winter so easy and fun.
”The best thing about them is that they really do keep your legs warm.
”If that’s not warm enough, put some thick socks in them. You can keep them hidden but I also love the look of a little sock peeking out on the top of your boots.”
Finally, Fee also advised to purchase ”triangle scarves”.
”If you know me, you know I am obsessed with these. The reason is that they’re so cute but also so versatile,” she said.
”Wrapped around your coat, wrapped around your shoulders or tied around your neck.
”You can also wear them indoors as part of your outfit.”
Posted four days ago, the informative clip has racked up more than 300k views and dozens of comments.
One social media user chuckled: ”It’s all fun and games until the triangle scarf ruins your wool coat with fuss, great recommendations though.”
Someone else chimed in: ”My Uniqlo lightweight puffer is so useful under coats.”
Another commented: ”People don’t understand fabrics anymore. That nylon polyester Frankie shop coat may look cute but it won’t keep you warm.
”Natural fabrics are just better. Keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.”
