I’M A Celebrity bosses have blamed model Janice Dickinson for her tumble in the jungle — telling her she should have gone for a wee before bed.

But in a bitter legal fightback, show executives insist she was “the author of her own misfortune”.

In court documents obtained by The Sun, they say: “The participants were advised to use lavatories and complete activities before retiring to their beds.

“An acceptable level of nighttime lighting had been collectively agreed on the first night and there were no objections made.

“The camp layout was not varied or altered, but fixed.

“There was a smooth unobstructed earthen surface around the campfire and bench vicinity and this path surface continued out to the lavatories.”

They add “she was attempting unnecessarily to pass between or over one of the fixed campfire benches when she could have walked round them”.

were given a safety briefing and a camp map and shown the unobstructed route to the lavatories, ITV says.

They argue: “The claimant was the author of her own misfortune or alternatively contributorily negligent.”

Bosses list nine allegations of negligence. including “failing to use the lavatory before retiring to bed”.

She says she has been left with nerve damage that affects her speech, eating and drinking and is suing ITV Studios for allegedly failing in its duty of care.

ITV says it disputes the full extent of her injuries, laid out in a report by a US plastic surgeon.
