THIS is the moment a man is tackled to the ground after spraying a mysterious substance on a US congresswoman during a town hall in Minneapolis.

The man leaps out at Omar as she gives a speech calling for ICE to be abolished.
Footage shows as the man suddenly squirts the unknown liquid after Omar says that Department of Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem should “resign or face impeachment”.
He points and shouts at the congresswoman, but is quickly grabbed and wrestled to the ground.
Horrified onlookers can be heard saying “oh my God he sprayed something on her” and asking what the substance was.
Omar says “I don’t know”.
After staff try to usher her off the stage, the congresswoman seems to resist, defiantly insisting: “We will continue”.
She added: “We’re gonna keep talking. Just give me ten minutes. Please don’t let them have the show.”
The audience cheers as the man is dragged out of the room, as security shout “make a hole”.
The congresswoman was uninjured and told the room: “Here’s the reality that people like this ugly man don’t understand.
“We are Minnesota strong, and we will stay resilient in the face of whatever they might throw at us.”
Cops said Anthony James Kazmierczak, 55, was arrested at the scene, where forensics were carried out.
He has been charged with third degree assault and is behind bars.
One attendee, Alfred Flowers Jr, told the BBC he “respected her courage and strength to still stay and finish the town hall for the people”.
Omar later posted a defiant message on X: “I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win.”
It is not yet known what the mystery substance was, but a BBC journalist in the room said it had a sour smell.
President Donald Trump has hit out at the congresswoman, calling her “garbage” during a Cabinet meeting in December.
On Tuesday, before the attack, he hit out at Omar as he spoke in Iowa, saying he would only let in “proud immigrants” “who can show that they love our country”.
He added: “She comes from a country that’s a disaster. So probably, its considered, I think its not even a country.”
The congresswoman fled her birthplace of Somalia with her family at 8-years-old and is a US citizen.
