A total of seven former Bond Girls gathered at The London Cabaret Club on Wednesday.

The group included Maryam D’Abo, Caroline Munro, Martine Beswick, Carole Ashby, Safira Afzal, Vanya Seager, and Alison Worth.

The women were all smiles as they celebrated the release of a new Bond-themed show, Love Never Dies.

Caroline, 76, who starred in A Spy Who Loved Me, dressed elegantly in a black dress, complemented by a silver belt and necklace.

Meanwhile, Carole, 70, appeared alongside Roger Moore in both Octopussy and A View To Kill.

For the glamorous event, she chose a patterned maxi skirt paired with a mesh top.

Martine, 84, starred opposite Sean Connery in From Russia With Love and Thunderball.

She opted for a black figure-hugging gown for the evening.

Three of the women, Alison, Safira, and Vanya, were featured in Octopussy.

It comes as a highly sought-after Hollywood star is in the running to become the next Bond Girl.

The Sun reported that the franchise is eager to cast American actress Sydney Sweeney.

Sweeney, 28, is a friend of the director – and she has the support of another significant figure.

Specifically, she has the backing of Barbara Broccoli, head of Eon Productions – which has creative control over the series.

A source from the film industry stated: “Sydney is the top name on the casting list for Bond.

“Denis believes she is exceptionally talented and has an appealing presence for younger audiences, essential for modernizing the franchise.

“They have spent considerable time together, and he has admired her rapid rise in the industry.

“Additionally, she possesses the athleticism to perform physical scenes while maintaining the feminine charm that is characteristic of Bond girls.”

The next installment will also introduce a new 007 – following Daniel Craig's departure with 2021’s No Time to Die.
