Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has stated that he will continue to dance, emphasizing that it will not interfere with his responsibilities.
Governor Adeleke made this remark on Wednesday during an interview on ‘Politics Today’, a program on Channels Television, which was monitored by DAILY POST.
According to DAILY POST, Adeleke is widely recognized for his dancing during his tenure as a Senator, earning him the nickname ‘dancing senator’.
“Let me share something with you. I will keep dancing because it brings me joy, and I love to praise my God. That doesn’t change anything. Do you understand what I’m saying?”
“Everyone has their own way of relaxing or pursuing hobbies. My hobby is dancing and praising my God. It does not affect my work,” he stated.
It is worth noting that the governor joined the Accord Party on Tuesday evening after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in preparation for the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election.
On Wednesday, the Accord Party awarded him the party ticket during its primaries in Osogbo.
