The leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, commonly referred to as Shi’ite, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, has stated that the United States is responsible for the creation of Boko Haram and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

El-Zakzaky further claimed that the US is financing the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) and ISIS.

This information was revealed in a viral video where he emphasized that politicians currently in power are accountable for the insecurity in Nigeria.

The Shi’ite leader questioned how herders suddenly obtained weapons and armored vehicles in remote areas.

He remarked: “The issue of insecurity in Nigeria was instigated by those in power, and if they truly wanted to resolve it today, they could, because they are the architects of this chaos.

“How is it that individuals known as cattle herders possess firearms in the wilderness? How can those referred to as bandits have armored vehicles in the bushes while being labeled terrorists?

“Where did these tanks originate? Did they emerge from the ground, or were they transported? Everyone is aware that the authorities are behind this insecurity; if they wished to stop it, they certainly could.

“By inviting the US, which we know is behind all this insecurity, the US created Boko Haram, the US is funding Boko Haram, the US created ISWAP, and they established ISIS, and they have openly admitted it.

“They declared that they would use terrorism to dominate Africa, so now you expect them to provide solutions to what they have caused? What do you anticipate? Mass killings of people.

“They will come to plunder our resources; you will find them wherever there are gold, oil, gas, and other valuable resources. This is why you will see them protecting Christians in Zamfara and Katsina.”
