Kiddwaya, a former reality TV star and the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Terry Waya, has ignited controversy after disclosing his “occupation.”

In a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast, the ex-BBNaija star revealed that his occupation is enjoying his father's wealth.

He expressed that he has no interest in work or business, emphasizing that he embraces a life of leisure.

“What I do for a living is wake up, choose a destination to fly to, travel there, spend time with my friends, and have fun; we drink, eat, and party. And then we do it all over again,” he stated.

“I’m a man of leisure. My philosophy on life is to live it to the fullest. I am not interested in working. I could claim to be involved in oil and trade, but that’s not my reality. It used to be my reality when I was trying to figure out how to explain my life to the world. The world isn’t interested in that. So, I’m sharing my truth and also the narrative they want to hear, which is that I am a wealthy man’s son and I am living my life from January to January. I’m just having fun.”

Kiddwaya mentioned that marriage will not change his lifestyle of “living for a living” and enjoying himself. He clarified that he would marry someone who also enjoys having fun.

However, he noted that he “works hard” to uphold his integrity and his family’s reputation by steering clear of scandals.

He argued that many individuals would have misused the privileges he enjoys if they were in his position.
