HOME and Away are planning to bring back a legendary couple – 10 years on from their last screen appearance.
The iconic duo will be appearing on the soap once more as part of a ‘landmark event’.

Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen have agreed to reprise their roles as Darryl ‘Brax’ Braxton and Erica ‘Ricky’ Sharpe for the special event set to play out next year.
The episodes are being produced with the Western Australia tourism board and will capture where the pair are now 10 years on from when audiences last saw them.
An early preview of the episodes has promised it “will reveal where life has taken Brax and Ricky since 2016, delivering high-stakes drama and emotional payoffs set against a stunning backdrop of WA’s rugged outback.”
The episode will be recorded in the Outback in a huge soap first.
Confirming his return, Stephen said: “I’ll always be grateful to Home and Away for being the launchpad to my career, and I’ve got a sincere appreciation for the fans who’ve followed my work since.
“When the producers asked if I’d revisit Brax, it felt like a fun opportunity – and one I think the audience will really enjoy.”
Similarly, Bonnie added: “Exploring where Ricky and Brax are now, 10 years on, will make for a very special and compelling storyline – and I can’t wait for our WA filming adventure.”
She also confessed she “never expected” to play the role again and so jumped at the chance to see where Ricky is at.
Filming for the episodes will commence in various locations in October and will be screened at some point during 2026.
Stephen joined the show as Brax and stayed in the role for five years.
Bonnie also left the programme at the same time after three years on the show.
Her exit storyline saw her reunite with Brax following him being sentenced to prison for a murder he did not commit.
They then left Summer Bay with little being mentioned of the couple since.
